Friday, March 5, 2010 Ride the Fish Train (aka the Eagle Cap Excursion Train) - 12:06 pm
Description: Ride the Fish Train down the Wallowa River to remote and scenic fishing along the roadless canyon. The Steelhead Fishing Train offers a unique and exciting fishing experience, including a hot lunch, easy access to the river, great fishing, and a place to warm up and swap fish tales. Sightseers are also welcome to ride the train. The scenery is fantastic along the river. The boarding station is located in Minam Oregon between Elgin and Wallowa on Highway 82.You can pick up a unique and narrative map of the train route following the favorite fishing holes for $3 at the Union County Tourism office located at 102 Elm Street in La Grande, Oregon.
